ABOUT US

 Prickly Pear was established in 1999 by Jane and Steve to cater for clients who care about food and see it as being extremely important in making an event successful and memorable.

I have had a passion for food most of my life.

Enjoying good food with family and friends is one of life’s greatest pleasures and for me to be able to make a living doing something I love is fantastic. Challenges in the kitchen inspire me and I often research food from particular cultures or historical periods for specific events.

I try to create imaginative and exciting food for people with special dietary requirements.

WEDDINGS

We have catered for weddings in stately homes castles, marquees, at people’s homes, in village halls.. even in an old aircraft hangar. We have travelled as far afield as Scotland and Exeter, though most of our business is in the South Wales area.

From the initial contact through to the cleaning up after the event, we pride ourselves on being approachable, reassuring and professional.

Your peace of mind is extremely important and we continue to be available for discussion and to make changes if necessary right up until the big day.

 We can cater for all kinds of functions such as parties, christenings, funerals, corporate events and sporting events.
