Crûg Farm Plants has an outstanding and unrivalled selection of plants, located in one of the most beautiful areas of North Wales.
For those of you who visit the nursery you will have the opportunity to stroll though our small woodland garden where you will see many of our shade loving introductions growing.
Many of the plants you will see are new – not seen in cultivation before. Do not worry if you do not recognise them as help is at hand. We have yet to meet anybody who can walk through the garden and recognise everything they see!
At any time of year you will find something of interest to tempt you. Most of the plants are labelled with good size labels so you will not have to get down on your hands and knees to read them.
From the woodland, you will make your way into our walled garden – here you will see more wonderful collections growing. On a recent visit Stephen Lacey described his walk as “squeezing and ducking through foliage as lush as a wooded Asian valley – palm-like Schefflera and Daphniphyllum, huge–leafed Tetrapanax, all wonderful stuff.”
When you have been tempted by your new findings, make your way into our intimate sales area and spend some time browsing and reading Bleddyn’s informative and humorous descriptions. They will help you make your selection of plants and we are always on hand to help with any queries you may have. We do not believe you will go away disappointed. As Roy Lancaster said after his first visit “I left reluctantly with one thought in my head; if heaven is like this, here’s hoping.”
We look forward to welcoming you
