The Festival includes classes for conventional and rare breed livestock, a Green Horizons & Sustainable Living Exhibition, a vintage machinery display, a Premier Open Dog Show with over 1000 entries, and a Folk Dance Festival.

Displays in the Floral Hall together with a wide range of garden, agricultural, food and craft stands and a full programme of family entertainment, make up the winning formula of the event. Visitors can also listen in a number of talks and participate in question and answer sessions on a variety of smallholding, horticultural, environmental and countryside issues.

This is certainly a Festival which celebrates rural life in a practical but enjoyable way, in arguably one of the most picturesque areas of Wales. The Festival is a hive of activity, offering the perfect day out for all,
whatever your interest or passion.

“The number one event for smallholding, gardening and sustainable living”

Nearly 24,000 visitors attended the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society’s 2013 event, the Spring Festival, confirming its status as one of the most popular weekend attractions in Wales showcasing smallholding, gardening and sustainable living.

Exhibits include the Floral Hall & Farmers Markets

The Floral Hall encompasses a Professional Competitive Tradestand and Garden Section, which is very successful, with total prize money of £5,400 being awarded to exhibitors in 2013.

Horticultural related societies and organisations with promotional stands will also be well represented in the Hall.

The Floral Hall has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2002, attracting exhibitors from across the UK. The Festival aims to build each year on the success of the Floral Hall and increase the number of floral displays whilst maintaining the high standard of quality.
