Abergavenny Nursery Garden Centre near Abergavenny is a family run and recently celebrated 56 years in business. The Garden Centre is one of the old traditional ones with a large range of plants of various kinds as well own grown plants. |  |

Not many of this type of Garden Centre exist anymore with the staff who are growers as well as salesmen. Advice is free with real knowledge of what suits the area and the varieties that will grow well. Until recently the nursery produced a wide range of vegetables that were sold in local shops but the cost of labour and the cheap supermarket deals has reduced this down to a small amount. |

In the main shop area they sell garden accessories as well as a wide range of plants, seed potatoes (50 varieties) and other gardening essentials. Seed such as Peas and Beans can be purchased by weight as in the traditional manner. Flower bulbs and Seed potatoes are available in the same manner in season. Mc Donalds offer all year round floristry for all occasions and also supply hand made floral tributes and wreaths of the highest standard, ideal for special occasions such as Mothers Day as well as weddings and birthdays. If you have an urgent need for a particular item, a bouquet of flowers for a loved one for instance the best method of contacting them would be by telephone. This way you are more likely to receive our hands on customer service. Having been in business for over 50 years you can rest assured you will be dealt with by friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff. |

We are open 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm (from 10am to 5pm on Sundays). Keep an eye open for our signs which are in various places. If you are approaching from the Hereford, Monmouth and Brecon directions you need to head for the village of Llanfoist. You need to continue through the main centre of the village, passing the ‘Spice Lounge’ restaurant on your left, continue on for about 100 yards, past Clytha Motors and take the second road on your right. Keep going down the road which passes Llanfoist Village Hall. Please drive with care down this lane for the safety of pedestrians and cars that may be coming the other way. |
