Our award winning preserves are all hand-stirred at Ivy Cottage in small batches on the range in the large family kitchen. Containing no artificial additives, our products use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and our own vegetable patch is getting bigger!

When we moved to Ivy Cottage in the Brecon Beacons National Park we began building a garden. First we planted fruit trees followed by flower borders and a vegetable patch. We soon started making preserves for our family using our home-grown produce.

Out of the blue we saw the opportunity to exchange a hobby for a successful business when we took over Miranda’s Preserves in 2011, leaving secure jobs in education. It was a leap of faith but with our children finding their independence we decided to take the plunge.

We enjoy building strong relationships with all the businesses we supply, providing a high quality, reliable, personal service and we welcome new wholesale enquiries. We supply most products in two jar sizes (12oz and 4oz) and in catering tubs. Please contact us or browse this website for details.

We hope to meet you at one of the many food fairs we attend where we often showcase seasonal or new products and particularly enjoy talking to children about preserving the harvest – encouraging them to earn one of our special “taste expert” stickers!
