The Vineyard

The Croffta vines were planted some 40 years ago by the late John and Barbara Bevan on the edge of Groes Faen in Mid-Glamorgan. After they died commercial sales of Croffta wine ceased, but the vines continued to flourish under the stewardship of their sons James and David Bevan.

In 2011 commercial operations have been restarted with Croffta Premium Sparkling Welsh wine made from our mature and vigorous Seyval Blanc grapes. Each year the Croffta grapes are harvested and sent to award winning Three Choirs Vineyard located in Newent, Gloucs, where they are made in to high quality and delicious tasting sparkling wine.
