- Potatoes
| Farming and especially potatoes have been my life for as long as I can remember. Here at St.Brides on the Dale Peninsula, we’ve grown maincrop potatoes in partnership with Puffin since they were first set up. We think alike because Welsh farms are generally family-run businesses, dedicated to growing produce they can be proud of, and that’s what they aim for at Puffin.
As well as the potatoes, we run a dairy farm with beef and dairy cattle, and we grow cereals here too. More than enough to keep us busy! My favourite months are April and May, when so much new life is appearing on the farm. From then on, God’s the boss! |
