Pembrokeshire Gold Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil

We are one of the few family farms in Britain that produce Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil from plant to bottle.

But why has it grown in popularity so much over the past few years, and why should we use it instead of sunflower or olive oil? In short, there are three reasons: the nutritional benefits, an amazing flavour profile and its sheer versatility in cooking.

The Thomas family have been farming at Manorbier in Tenby, Pembrokeshire since 1958 and prior to that my Grandfather William Louis Thomas was a pioneer of Pembrokeshire early potatoes during the 30’s and 40’s.

We have always had a passion for producing local food and the early potatoes were grown for many years by my Father George and Mother Sally.

In the early 2000’s when I finished college and became more involved in the day to day running, the farm became a predominantly arable enterprise which is where my passion lies.

Since marrying Kim in 2015 we have 2 children, George and Oscar. They already have the same spark and love for tractors and farming as I did when I was their age so we looked for a way to secure the farm for the 4th generation and that is where Pembrokeshire Gold Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil was born.
