Set on the edge of the beautiful surroundings of the Brecon Beacons in Powys, is the village of Llangynidr, near Crickhowell, in this village is ‘The Red Lion’, a 15th century inn with lots of character. The Red Lion also offers good home cooked food and a friendly atmosphere, children are welcome and catered for. Sunday lunches are offered, booking is advised so you don’t miss out. Over 60’s lunches are offered every Wednesday between 12 & 2:30pm . There are open fires to keep you warm in the winter and an outside area for those summer months, including a children’s play area. There is a games room with a pool table, dart board and gaming machines and Sky TV in the bar for the sports fans including live rugby matches. There is a separate dining room to enjoy your meal or it can be used for small private functions. Everyone is welcome, walkers, cyclists even dogs!
